Evening everyone, just wonderered if any of the Borovets regulars could tell us what the runs are generally like and where the best place is to head on that first day out there. I would say we are intermediates, I have just mastered parallell turns and my hubbie (as most blokes are!) is a fair bit better than me! Are the red runs steep? Or are some areas of the mountain easier than others?
Any long runs too, did the ski road in Bansko and that was great? Cheers in anticipation! have ...

I'd personally tackle the slopes by the Rila hotel before heading up the Gondola. There is a lon green run, a few wide blues and a few reds to tackle if you feel brave enough. If that isn't enough, there is a black run too.
No not planned to but had a private one in Bansko last year and came on leaps and bounds. If we were to try and get one I guess he/she would also show us where to go? The Rila sounds great, will do that and then see how we go... cheers bob!
most of the runs are very good just be carefull where some of the faster runs cross over the slower runs but overall you will have great fun as loads and loads of run to chose from
