Doh! I am SOOOOO silly - I fell for this one I thought it was weird as I had not heard of it before.....get this - I looked it up on Google to check I saw there was such a thing and thought "ooh - must read this later when I am not so busy" then just clicked on another bit and it says Aprils Fool - aaargh!!

I fell for two other pranks this year in both a national and in our local paper - oh I am SO gullible .....and I was pondering buying property in Bulgaria.....hmmm

Like it. Actually there was a very good documentry on Sky last year called exterme enginearing. It was exploring this very topic!! The idea is feasable the tunnel would be suspended and the train would run on a magnetic field. Because the tunnel would be a vacum the train could reach incredible speeds, talking London New York in less than 2 hours!!!!! All possible even with todays technology but would cost billions. I am waiting
