New visitors to Borovets!

Hi . Going to Borovets on the 19th March. Are ther lots of private tutors for skiing and where would I find them! Any useful info for a family , restaurants, shopping,etc. thanks Caroline

We are going on 13th march and did the same last year. We had private tuition for our family - we have 3 boys 11, 9 and 6. We all skiied together and now and again my husband and I would go off on our own while the kids had an extra hour with Instructor. At that time of year there seems to be a lots of Instructors looking for extra work so we found we were approached on the first day by guys touting for business. Where are you staying?

Just come back from Boro with my 11 year old son. We were doing our own thing but were approached by an ski instructor who talked us into private lessons.
He charged 70 levs for an hour and half, I think you could get it cheaper but for me it was the best money I ever spent. He was very good and taught us an awfull lot in a few hours. his name is Jordan, if you are interested I can give you his phone number. His English is very good.

Hi Carol, thanks for getting back to me! We are staying at the Samokov hotel, so theres loads to do, free swimming pool, bowling , saunas etc. I m really looking forward to it , but worried about the snow conditions, keeping my fingers crossed! Where did you stay last year? Obviously it was great as you are returning! Caroline
