New year or half term - what's best?

I asked this question a while back - search on my name under author to see. Still dithering about which would be the best time to book for next year in Bovorets. To all those people who have just come back...what do you think? Thanks, I do appreciate your comments on this board. Alison.
( Any more advice on my snowboarding dilemma would be great too!)

Wen to Pamps a couple of years ago for New year and the temp was -24. Went to Bansko last year at Feb half term and it got to -5. In all honesty both resorts were very busy, so it depends how much you like the cold.

Hi, we have just come back from boro was out there for half term and it was very busy, we have also been there over christmas and it was not so busy but you can never be to sure wether there will be snow or not. The first christmas we went it was brilliant for skiing, then we went again and we only skiied for 4 days, then at half term the snow was better but as you know all over europe it has not been a good year for snow so it all depends on wether you like it busy or good snow. Hope this ...
