re: Newbie to Bulgaria

in general where ever we go we tip 10% of the bill if we get good service, not sure if there is an etiquette to be honest. We ad a great time in pamps, didnt ski two days but the bars are great and there is bowling and swimming as well. hope you have a good one

re: Newbie to Bulgaria

We normally tip about 10% and never had an issue. We have been to certain retaurants a number of years and now they automatically give us 10% off the bill without asking and then we give it back to them!! Don't worry about the snow - think positive and go looking for a holiday rather than 130cm of powder that some people are dreaming of. People are gr8 and am sure you and your lad will have a ball. Always found the Bulgarians love kids as well - never had a problem anywhere with mine ...

Only other advice - get helmets if you haven't already.
