Night Skiing and Prices and any other info?

Hi guys,

Were going to borovets for the first time this feb and am wondering how much the night skiing is extra per day or for a week?
How much is like a pint of beer or wine too?

Any other useful tips or info would be wicked as the lift system looks quite spread out.

Thanks

Hi Shaun,
Night skiing is advertised at 22 lev about £9 for adults, not sure how much beer of wine is this year but very cheap compared to the uk prices.

When are you going in Feb,? there are alot of us board members out at half term and just after, I am out 25th Jan to 1st Feb and then 16th to 22nd Feb, if you are there then come along to Bobbys bar and say hello !

Night Skiing; Well worth doing. The area used is freshly bashed from the finish of the day skiing. Not really too busy, with everybody moving down the mountain without too much stopping.

Hi Shaun

Last year the beer was around 3.50 to 4 leva I think from memory. Apologies if I'm wrong, but it is a good deal cheaper than the UK.

The lifts are a bit spread out, however you soon learn how to connect it all up. A bit easier to do on ski's than board I would say. The best thing to do is come along to Bobbys Bar where you will meet loads of people, especially on a Sunday evenings when the people from this forum meet there. The best thing to do is come along to Bobbys Bar where you will meet loads of people, especially on a Sunday evenings when the people from this forum meet there. I'm sure there will be someone there who can show you the ropes. Let me know if you want me to describe where Bobbys is.

Other tips are that the exchange rate is usually markedly better in the resort (please use Crown Booths rather than others), so my advice would be to bring £20 notes in reasonable condition and exchange there. Or if you are uncomfortable carrying notes there are quite a few ATM's in resort and although I don't really use them I believe you also tend to get a better rate than UK.

Make sure you try the Rakia!!

Which hotel are you in?

When are you out and who are you bringing with you?
