Nightlife

I am going to borovets for the first time on sat and am staying in the Rila. Can anyone tell me how far a walk it is to the pubs etc? Also I am hiring skis etc, will these be kept at the hotel, just wondering if I will need boots to get from hotel to ski store or will trainers do???

try the black tiger opposite the rila hotel for a drink , ski depot is in the hotel so you won't have to walk far

Rila is dead central for everything. nothing is more than a 5 min walk from the hotel. It is a nice compact resort only about 10 mins walk from one end to the other.

Just got back this aft. The only thing I found a bit of a let down was the food in the hotel. Plenty of other places to eat though - try the t bone at the Happy Duck or the pizza place next to the slopes. The karaoke bar is a good laugh, and most places are open pretty much round the clock. You'll have a great time m8!!
