No Skiing in Bansko

By the powers of greyskul I hereby declare that skiing is banned in Bansko for the rest of this week so that the 4th/5th ers can make the most of the excellent conditions and none of the snow will have been worn away.

All lifts including the Gondola are closed due to high winds!

The slopes are full of freash untracked snow but as I type this at 9.15am the gondola is still shut due to wind Crying

Very strong winds are forcast right up to Monday maxing out at 65km/h on Saturday. Also a massive 18cm of snow is predicted for Sunday night - looks like there may be more to the 'powers of greyskul' than you think.

I'd get the lottery on if I were you, too. Very Happy
