I am delighted to report that the Police are strictly enforcing the new non-smoking law. The Police were present in one of the bars in town last night monitoring the situation having a fag at the non-smoking table. Whilst enjoying his complimentary Rakia and Pizza.

There is supposed to be a no smoking ban in public places from 1 jan 2005. Sadly it isn't being enforced.re: No Smoking Law

What can I say I am an ex smoker , my partner still smokes and I can honestly say smoking doesn't bother and it doesn't seem to bother the Bulgarians either as when we were out there we sat at a table - my partner asked for an ash tray and they got him one with no bother. Later I was looking at a sign on the table and one of the waitresses kindly told us after Nick had finished his ciggy that thwe table was non smoking. Our instructor told us that in Bulgaria smoking is not an issue as it ...
