No probs Sam

Sam, I suspected that you'd decided to stay dry on Tuesday. It was awful weather.

In a way I am glad you didn't make it as we had only had 3 hrs sleep the previous night due to our flight being diverted!

I was in the Lion on Tuesday, sat closest to the TV near the door. Was talking to a bloke with long hair for a good bit of the night. You're right it was really busy in there otherwise i'd probably have shouted an introduction of myself!

What did you think to Bnsko? Will you be ...

re: No probs Sam

I saw the guy you were talking to, was there also another guy who kept shouting for the door to be closed? thought bansko was great best resort in bulgeria although I havent been to bovorets so cant realy comment on that, yes possibly next March as going with hubbys work skiing in Jan possibly Austria, so need to spread it out a bit,

re: No probs Sam

I could have been the bloke shouting for the door to be shut - there was a few of us. I had my England kit on - close cropped hair 6'4" big nose, sat next to tracy who probably had her light blue with white sleeve ski jacket.

For the record, Bansko is tonnes better than Borovets.

Think it will be March again next year for us. Would strongly recommend the Perun but may try the Kempinski due to its location? Undecided.

re: No probs Sam

we looked at the kempinski for xmas coming up at £800 each with neilsons and they look like the only company that do half board all the rest do b and b and they are around £550 in march if you see a better deal let us know. cant remember anyone with an england kit on and normally my hubby sees them as hes a scott and has to make some comment about them. were you sat right next to the door eating?

re: No probs Sam

Yes but ate early doors. Got there about 7, then moved round the table when the blokes opposite left (so i could see the chelsea v barca match.

Think Balkan are the cheapest. They give B&B but charge a reasonable suppliment for HB.

I reckon I will go to B&B given the choice (bearing in mind the cheap food.

Out of interest, where do you live? Wondered if you fancy meeting at a dry slope some time?

re: No probs Sam

Sounds great Sam, went to xscape before we went to Bansko. It is good for what it is but when you have been on proper slopes it's really tame. Having said that it is better than nothing and I could use an hour practising a few things I learnt.

Give me a shout when Lee gets back.
