After this years double booking fiasco at the "Hotel Pamparovo" we are interestedin Hemsedal in Norway, has anyone been there and if so would you recommend
it?

Hello there,Read about your fiasco at Pamporovo, soory that its put you off BG. Have you had a look at the Ski Club of Great Britain website, where there are lots of resort reviews? Just a thought

My friend spent three months very near there while training (42 Commando). He commented how expensive it was, especially alchohol. He also said it was bitterly cold, even more so than alpine resorts. The skiing was a little limited especially for him as he was in the combined services team but there was definately enough for holidaying. Overall he said it was a very friendly place, one point, the Norwegions like a drink, this tends to happen in small bars/restaurants, there is supposed to be ...

of booze, this stuff is supposed to send you blind, be warned..
All this comes from a couple of years ago (and also from the mouth of a pongo)
actually he is a straight up fella so i am sure it applied then, might be differant now ???
