Gondola has been closed the last 2days in Bansko. This was initially down to the high winds we have been having here in BG. Today the lifts were closed due to wind but also there has been damage by falling trees. The gondola supposedly being one of the victims. They are trying to get this sorted to enable lifts to be open asap.

According to the banskoski.com website gondola is down as green so is running today. There doesn't seem to be many up the ountain as yet. Yesterday they were running shuttles up there and managed to get some lifts open. I guess as the week goes on it will get better daily. Will try to find out more info as will be driving into Bansko today to sort some work etc out.

Looks like most runs are operational today on the cams. People at Platoto, todorka, shilli etc etc

Borovets not bad weekend and today appart from gondols but skiing not bad on lower slopes and night skiing always very good.
