Being a kiwi and all......I always follow the ski season in NZ.......north Island, Whakapapa & Turoa........where I originaly learnt to ski.136cm of virgin snow in a week!!!........and another 4 days coming of full on snowfall.........bring it on!!!

OMG that is so not fair. Don't get me wrong I like it being sunny here today but give me a skiing holiday anytime.Only 7 1/2 months to go, I ca*'t wa*t !!!!!

I spent our Summer last year in NZ winter - took me and my 8 year old off to Singapore, 6 weeks in campervan in NZ then 8 days in Bali - oooooh the memories!!!
Planned to whizz round North & South Isle BUT.... ended up spending lots of time at Whakappa - FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plan was to return this year to do 'Part 2' and ski South as didn't last year but due to my son having 'medical issues' it is on hold now - hopeful for next year. I ...

Plan to return next year for 2 months - some time on North & at Whak then down on South to Queens etc.

Well i'm glad i'm not the only one missing out this season in nz!!!.........I feel better now
I suppose 6 months until we see snow here in BG is'nt too long a time to wait

He's not wrong. Even Perisher Blue in Australia has had a good dump of snow. I am not making that up either, it is a real ski area in Aus!re:
Hey Andy - soz - not picked up you in BG - duuugh - silly me!! Was saying why come here? as in UK!!Aaargh - just checked site - Turoa has 200+cm - boo hoo, I want to be there!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh - dreaming of next year - it WILL happen - we WILL go - YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
