Off peak season

Can anyone tell me if there are enough things to do in Banko off ski season to attract lots of holiday makers.I know there are activities like cycling ,walking, sightseeing and a golf course being built etc,but most holiday resorts have these. What makes Bansko unique?

COLIN WHAT MAKES BANSKO UNIQUE HOT SUMMERS, CHEAP ACCOMODATION,CHEAP BEER &FOOD, SCENERY TO DIE FOR, HUNTING WILD BOAR AMONG OTHER ANIMALS IF IT TAKES YOUR FANCY, 2 HOURS DRIVE FROM GREECE WHERE BEAUTIFUL COAST AWAITS, OR TURKEY, OR EVEN BULGARIAN BEACHES, COLIN MOST OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE THESE THINGS BUT BULGARIA IS CHEAPER THAN CHIPS TO DO THEM.

re: Off peak season

colin you will possibly find a lot of bulgarians holiday there to escape the heat, the last time i was on the coast in july temp was up to 42c very hot, if people want more of an adventure type holiday they would possibly book there, if you are looking to buy try posting a message asking how other people find there rentals go in the summer, I have a place in spain and although there are loads of golf courses and we are not far from benidorm rentals drop off big style during the winter months ...

re: Off peak season

SAM BANSKO HAS MILDER SUMMERS THAN MOST OF BULGARIA DUE TO ITS GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION IN THE MOUNTAINS BUT WE GOLFERS LOVE THE HEAT THATS WHEN YOU RENT A BUGGY.
PORTUGAL IS HOT DOSENT STOP THAT BEING ONE OF THE WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE GOLF RESORTS TO BUY A HOME.

re: Off peak season

It's true I have got orange balls. Wink I've needed them for the last 2 weeks as well.

The golf courses being built in Bansko will bring a few tourists in in the summers. The problem is that it won't be instantly, quality golf courses need a few years to bed down before they become quality places to play.
