I'm going to bansko on 5th of march. I have managed to get in contact with a qualified ski guide who is able to show us the best off piste skiing in Bansko. The more people who want to go the cheaper it gets. Are there any experienced skiers/boarders going to Bansko on the 5th of march who want to join us for a day or two in the back country?re: Off piste in Bansko
Interesting, not going till the 19th and conditions may not be so good then. Any chance of giving me his/her name so i can contact in resort ??Have you seen the webcams today, looks glorious

There is a serious risk of avalanches in the higher mountain areas, while freezing temperatures also pose a threat over holiday-makers. In many winter resorts temperatures have dropped to 17 below zero on Monday.
Meanwhile, many Bulgarian people are making plans for mountain trips over the next four days, when national holiday celebrations merge into the weekend.
Snowfall over the last two days has also provided good skiing conditions.
