Offpist Bansko

Hi any info about the offpist in Bansko? Been ther befor but have is it this year, going the 24Feb...

Not much help but I couldn't see any easily accessible. The trees looked (and were) pretty tight. The top when I went was windblown and often shut.

there is a severe avalanche warning in Bansko at the moment. I was told this was due to instable snow due to a lot of ice forming before the latest snow falls.

I went down under the lifts to the left of run 5 in deep powder on Wednesday and it was fantastic skiing. I wouldn't fancy trekking anywhere further afield without a guide or equipment though it's just not worth the risk.

go to Utube and put in bansko. there is some good videos taken by people last year off piste.

Be there on the 24th as well!!!
