Last January there was a group of use going to book a holiday in Borovets but for one reason or another there was a problem bringing it all together so I thought I didn't want to miss out so I booked to go on my own.
Everyone thought I was crazy but it turned out great one of my better holidays as I met so many people and they were really friendly.
I have booked again this January 17th at the Iglika flying from E. Midlands. Again on my own.
Does anyone else prefer to holiday on their own ...

Does anyone else prefer to holiday on their own or do you think it is a bit sad.
well if you need company (unless you collect stamps, trainspotter etc) call in at the White Majic regular group meet up every year, also I suspect Tiger Tim will hit you on this one.

Hi,now I'm in my late thirtys,my mates don't go skiing anymore, and other half hates the cold so in the past 4years,I've been to Pamps twice and Borovets 4 times, everytime on my own.To be honest I would now rather go on my own,its so nice just to do your own thing, and the great thing about Borovets, you always seem to meet some great new people
Funny you should say this, but i was thinking about going to Borovets by myself in March.
Have been for the last 2 years skiing with my best mate ( started as 40th birthday treat for us both, obviously very young 40's!) Had the best holiday ever!!
Fell in love with Borovets!!
Went again this September for a couple of days by myself, just to see the mountains in summer....Wow!
This Jan taking husband and kids for the 1st time hoping they will love the place too.
I would love ...

I would love another week in March, husband will have been to Lec so i will be feeling very sulky! Doesn't look like any of my friends can go in March either.
I do know a couple of people out there now but does it sound bad - a married mother of two going skiing by herself!!!!
Get out there, but be aware of all the kind do goody people that just can't let you have a minute alone, tho married I often have little holidays alone and was heading out to Bansko alone last March until my partner managed to swing the week off, so nearly a week snowboarding alone and it would have been fine, you will enjoy I'm sure, go on you know you want to.
