I hate to say it, but every year is getting worse regarding the snow conditions. Thats why this year I opted for Switzerland. 95cm snow cover already and snowing heavily. There is not that much of a difference in price any more.
Hope I'm wrong, because I loved the last four seasons in Pamps.
Just did 5min research there, can get a holiday to switzerland, everything in(flights, transfers, ski pass etc) for cheaper than i can to bulgaria. Bulgaria will be cheaper once there but getting there can be more expensive than the alps.something is not right there
Pamps had loads of snow when I was there in Feb this year. Was very bad last year like many other places but that doesn't mean it's gonna be bad this year.
Sorry but I was wrong. I went four times to Bulgaria. Last time it was in Bansko. We did manage to ski because they have snow cannons. Its good to ski till noon. We pay a lot of money to go skiing and its not nice to keep praying for snow till the last minute.
I didnt say that Switzerland is cheaper than Bulgaria. But its not that much more expensive.
A complete Package for two ppl (Flight, transfer, hotel HB, Insurance, Ski Pass and Hire of Equipment)
Bulgaria EUR1870
Switzerland EUR ...

It does seem to have alot of drag lifts but it also has 80km of slopes compared to 25km for pamps. It also has a 1500m vertical compared to 500m for pamps but most impotantly it is already covered in loads of snow.
Are you serios Mat? It has chair lifts from top to bottom. Including 6men lift. Ski in ski out. 2 Blue runs from top to bottom. One is 15km the other is 11km. A 7km black run and a 5km red. Extra wide pistes.
Dont get me wrong. I did enjoy Pamps. But this is a far bigger and more orginized resort. Savognin was voted the No1 Skiing resort in Europe for families. All this for a small extra charge.

By the way, Im still hoping that one day I will be back ...

By the way, Im still hoping that one day I will be back in Pamps. So far it was my first and best skiing experience. The only thing that is bothering me is the snow condition.
In my opinion its getting too risky to book a holiday in Pamps in advance.
