One legged skiing!

I ruptured my Achilles two seasons ago, and have been advised to wear a support when skiing, Only trouble is the only ones I can find are big, balky and impossible to wear with my boots.
Anyone know of any slimline ankle-foot supports?

What about an elastic bandage or a normal bandage you can wrap round yourself.

im just getting over rupturing the tendons along the side of the foot, and ive been using a normal elasticated ankle support on the plaky stuff, you find that if your boots are a correct fit they will provide a lot of the necassary support

re: One legged skiing!

I correctly fitted ski boot will give you far more support than any ankle support.

re: One legged skiing!

When in a ski boot attached to skis, leaning slightly forward you achilles is streched to its max, if you ski on your edges then they are under pressure from side to side movement as well.
Believe me ski boots dont offer total protection, I have two ruptures to prove it.
