Got back yesterday from Pamps, we had a fantastic week. The weather could'nt have been better. We stayed at the Rozhen, and after hearing bad reports we were very pleased with the hotel. It was warm and clean and the best prices in the resort. Also they were giving 2.7levs to the £. The food was'nt all that good but edable. I managed the wall before my two teenage boys ( but they did it without falling afterwards ) Ski instruction was as expected THE BEST. Can't wait for next year.
Hi ya Carol, yes I would stay there again. Its about a 3 to 4 minute walk from the centre of the hotel complex. It is only a 10 min walk to the ski centre.
Hi Howard - Glad you had a good holiday we were also considering the Rozhen due to its price and position. Stayed in the Finlandia this year - brilliant hotel but a bit out of the way for my teenage son who walked to the ski centre every morning as he wanted to ski before we had to meet our instructor. Have also been given bad reports about the Rozhen in that the heating and hot water is dodgy and that its full of staff from the local bars who stay there - is this right or not? Were there ...

Hi Deb if anything the heating was on too high, shower mostly ok depending on the amount of use. There were some instructors and other staff staying there. But that kept the bar prices down and pleasent. We stayed at the Finlandia in 03, you will find the Rozhen a bit of a dive compared, but you will have a great time there.
Also stayed at the Finlandia this year, loved it, but it was a bit out of way and must admit Rozhen is priced well, but Finlandia was exeptional and maybe worth the extra??
