Picked up at the Malina Chalets in Pamps last Saturday at about 10.30pm to travel back to Sofia with transport arranged through this site.
All was going well, most dozing in the bus (12 of us) when all of a sudden we stop on the motorway, looked at my watch, it is 1.30am so we must be fairly close by now.
The driver gets up, puts on his coat mutters "diesel", gets out and walks along the hard shoulder trying to flag down passing cars (not too many at that time of the day) using the light ...

To our astonishment about the 3rd stopped, in he jumped and off thay went!
About 15 minutes later the same car came back the other way, out jumped our driver, ran across the motorway filled up and off we went!
In the mean time the driver of the other car reversed down the hard shoulder to the exit about 2 miles away and went on his way!
Could you see that happenning in the UK, we would have been sat waiting for 2 hours for the AA to turn up and would have missed our flight!
A bit unnearving at the time (especially with a child with a broken leg) but we had a laugh even at the time!
He got a good tip I can tell you, but Galina, if you are reading this please, please ensure your buses have enough fuel to reach their destinations!
