Right, so we have all been glued to the forum side christmas hoping for a glimmer of hope!!! People keep advising to cancel if at all possible, myself like a lot of others do not have this option as we will lose the whole cost of the holiday!!
I went on both Crystal & Nelson's websites today and am stunned that they are still SELLING Ski Holidays (with lift passes at full price!) REALLY? How can this be allowed?
I just wish they would do the decent thing and shut the bloody resort ...

I just wish they would do the decent thing and shut the bloody resort down fir the season (at least that was your holiday insurance will pay out!)
If you have decent insurance (that covers piste closure) you will be able to claim some money back.
I went in Jan 2010 to Borovets - the skiing was pathetic, but our rep got a letter from Borosport confirming what pistes were closed and what was open (basically the same as now).
We were able to claim about £400 between 3 of us.
I would rather of had the snow, but at least it is some compensation.
Most of the runs in Pamps and Bansko are fine. And if you are booking a ski holiday now you should really check conditions first.
however I understand how you feel I have been booked for Boro since last year, and just didn't expect this . Still I wouldn't expect them to close the resort!
