Options Sofia to Bansko

Ok so there are 3 of us going for a weekend Nov 7th.
So far have seen that easyjet (well their car hire arm) offer us car hire for £80 (a little cheaper as we booked flights with them) but then fuel for 180miles I guess will be ... £25 well that would be UK cost so say £100 all in. Thing is will have to buy a map and also the risk of getting caught speeding (not intentionally but just accidentally breaking the law and then not able to understand the police).
Option 2 - Taxi and I think ...

Can anyone else help?
Clearly driving will need map/GPS & no drinking on the Friday Morning Grr. But Taxi is hassle free and no issue of speeding tickets leave it to the driver to do.

What's wrong with the bus?! Takes the same time as a taxi and costs about 10 euro from Sofia bus station to Bansko bus station! Very comfy and friendly. You can buy tickets at bus station Sofia or just get on the bus and say Bansko - you can buy the ticket on the bus. I always take a taxi from Sofia Airport to the main bus station, but only use the official taxis(office in terminal foyer) as they are cheapest and most safe.Also about 10 euro. Dont believe the taxi driver when he says there are no buses to Bansko...Bus goes from Sofia to Blagoevgrad,then change over in Blagoevgrad to Bansko(Destinations are on the front of the bus). Takes about 3 hours total.Remember,if you ask the bus driver "Bansko?" and he shakes his head, he means YES, so get on board!
