Orange mobile

Good Morning
Can anyone tell me if I will be able to make a call via my orange pay as you go mobile phone whilst in Borevets

Yes you will be able to Meg if you get international roaming on it. It is expensive though to make and receive calls. You may be better off getting yourself a phone card out here and using a pay phone if you want to ring home. If you just want to be able to text I think it ranges from about 45 - 75p per text.

Thanks Crazy Lady, I'll sort out the roaming part this week but pick up a phonecard when I arrive as you suggest

You have 2 phonecards to chose from Blue or Orange there is no difference I believe but you can only use blue cards on the blue phone booths and vice versa

I used my orange phone in BG and mainly sent texts home - the usual price was 25p BUT Orange had a PROBLEM with MOBITEL the Bulgarian bit of the network and they charged £1.10 per text. I queried this with orange when I got home and they deducted all of these £1.10 texts from my bill
Keep an eye on the charges would be the advice I would offer.
