Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I must say how shocked i was to read of the orphanage closure in a recent thread. Do you have any clues as to where they are moving the children? Is it to a new building with central heating, good food, Warm clothing, Teachers and trained staff? Perhaps they are being fostered or adopted? I hope this is the end for these appaling places but somehow i dont think that is going to happen,
I just wonder if the recent British television and media coverage of these orphanages isnt forcing the Bulgarian Goverment to hide these poor children even further.I also hope the people involved with the orphanage in Bulgaria are able to track the welfare of the children after it closes. It is also a shame that the children will not be able to benefit from the hardwork that the fundraisers put in throughout the last season.

Fv . .hi . . .Andie is trying hard to find out what is to happen to the children, maybe you could email her, it is such shocking news after all the hard work and effort that has been put in, . . .maybe you could also email me with details of the orphanage you have supported and visited, I am desperate to find out what may happen to a little boy I have been in contact with at the Stoikite orphanage, I know from past posts on this forum you are a very caring person and have had much involvement with the children of Bulgaria, hope this ok
