Hi there, does anyone know what this hotel is like? im goin with a group of friends on the 29th dec! I know its only a 2* but we chose it coz we're there to ski/party, not 2 live in luxury!as long as it has a bed and some heating im not fussy!!re: Orpheus Hotel

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago.
It's about 5 minutes walk out of the town centre.
The bar was really cheap when we were there.
The food was edible, though nothing fancy. Also when we were there it wasn't a choice, you just got what was put in front of you. I never had anything though that I wouldn't eat.
The rooms were very warm. There was plenty of hot water and the hotel itself was very quiet.
The reception doubles up as a little shop, great for sweeties, ...

It's a bit of a hill up to the hotel from the main road where the ski bus drops you off. (But if you're fit enough to ski/snowboard then it won't be a problem).
The only reason we're not staying at this hotel this year is because we couldn't get the combination of rooms that we need.

nice one, glad to hear that info! thought we might be without heat, light and water for that price! but the saving means extra
