Out to borovets on 20th Dec / will there be snow

Very Happy not long now, looking at the web cams every day, seems to be a lot of fog, can't see anyone skiing yet! is that because they are only skiing at the top at the moment. have not been to bulgaria since 1996 is it still cheap compared to the pound

The resort doesnt open unti the 20th, although someone did say it may open tomorrow and sunday, so if we see people skiing on the webcams tomorrow itll be a good sign. Best exchange rate is about 2.1levs to the pound, think I got 2.5 in Feb so not so good! Still found it very cheap though

cheers, i was watching web cam on wednesday and i saw ski lifts working at bottom, got excited but saw nobody skiing, not been on since. watching some videos from borovets on youtube looks like we are gonna be doing some good boarding Very Happy

Yes you did see people sking this morning but only on the bottom nursery drag lift.Other lifts may be open tomrrow. Alot of snow forecast for early next week.
