Contact Interski Bulgaria (Google it) and ask for Pete Todokov. Excellent English and a brilliant instructor.
He'll also sort out lift passes and all your gear.

Cool

re: PAMPOROVO Bits and Bobs

Hi Ian,
Just wanted to second PP's recommendation of Interski. We have used them the last couple of years and they have been fantastic.
Our 5 year old son had one to one lessons with a lovely lady called Desi, she was brilliant Very Happy
We took our own boots and skis and they stored them there for us every night, saving us stuggling with them on the bus.

Re. the free lift passes for under 7's.

As I recall, they don't physically get a lift pass, but can use the lifts anyway. Its definitely the case in Boro and I'm 95% certain it was the case in Pamps too when I was last there a couple of years ago.

If I'm wrong I'm sure PP will correct me!

Having not been 7 for 50 years I'm a little unsure on this Billy - but at a guess I think you're right Gentleman

Hi Ian
Another vote here for Jordan and PS rent-a-car. Brilliant service and excellent english. Also Interski - fantastic company. Also, most of the ski instructors in the main ski school speak good english.
Regarding under 7's - they don't get a lift pass and they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This is fine if you have private tuition but if they are in ski school you may be asked to buy them a ski pass if you are not remaining with them.
We had some discussions last year ...

We had some discussions last year about piste insurance and I think the conclusion that we came to was that a minor is covered by the accompanying adults lift pass insurance and so would be transferred from the slopes in the event of an accident. However if the child was unaccompanied the situation is less clear.
(I know that the idea of an under 7 being unaccompanied on the slopes seems a little irresponsible but I do know a number of 6 year old lunatic skiers who can outski their parents and it doesn't matter how loud you scream 'wait for me'..... if they're off, they're off!)
