like any other resort, Pamporovo will be ready for the big cellebration. Generally if you travel with a tour operator there will be a gala dinner included in the price. It is going to be held in the restaurant of your hotel where you will normally have meals. Note that wealthy bulgarians often travel to the winter resorts for the same occasion and you will have to party with them if you want to stick to what your holiday price takes in. You wont be in the best environment as the bulgarian have their own way (very good) of enjoying themselves and you wont feel in a friendly athmosphere. If you want to spot the differences then give it a try. Should you want to party with your own countryfellows in a way you expect the night to be then all touroperators would organise sth for all the brits in the resort. both ways you will have great time.
New Year can be a bit hit and miss for snow conditions, but over the last 10 years, 7 have been great 3 have been poor so the averages are on your side. Nightlife if fantastic and if you dont have one hell of a time you don't have a pulse.
