PAMPS OR BORO

First time in BG last year stayed at Samakov in Boro and had a brilliant time with wife and kids .After a rush of blood to the head I have just booked for the Hotel Perelek in Pamps , will i really have to wait until next year to find out if i have made a mistake.

You have not made a mistake at all. Pamporovo is a great little resort smaller than Boro but you will love it. Only point is the Perelik is a good hotel but not sure if all rooms af been upgraded yet. Also you could get put in a room above the disco and be kept awake until 3am!!! If you want to avoid this I would recomend the Mourgavets wich is linked to the Perelik much quieter and fully refurbed.

Its good-best bar in pamps is in hotel.in the heart of the activities.

I agree with Daniel the Murgavets is an ace hotel and only a 3 minute walk from the best bar in Pamps which is BJ's

Have stayed at both Perelik and Mourgavets. Food was better at Perelik but rooms better furnished at Mourgavets. Pamporovo is small but very pretty, good skiing and friendly, prefered it to Bovovettes but had a 10 year gap between the two ( pesky kids!). Trying Bansko on Sunday so will give you an opinion on which Bulgarian resort is best after that!

Nothing wrong with Pamps mate. Got back today and had a cracking time. Snow was great, people are wonderful, cheap as you like (me & the missus spent less than£400 between us and ate out on 4 nights). You might want to look into getting a room on one of the top floors as the main club (BJ's) is the most popular in the resort and can get quite loud.
I stayed at Murgavets and it really is a blinding hotel (food's pants, but eating out is so cheap who cares)

Thanks for the advice , we have asked for a quiet room if poss but i am not sure wether to take ear plugs or try to be the last one standing.
