re: PIRIIN GOLF

Been there a couple of times during the build.
The Golf Club house is seriously stunning top quality I'd say you would call that a genuine 5star+ in the UK (kid you not).

The Course (not played on but walked a bit of it & driving range) is very very good would certainly be happy to play there.

Food @ GOlf Club house was frankly stunning & really good value barely different from Bansko village prices. Service too was exceptional.

Actual studios, flats etc the completed ones are ...

If you have ever been to the Balkanstroy other development Katarino Spa 4 star I thought that was amazing but Pirin Golf country club is leagues above it.. & I didnt think that was possible.

Hm. The common areas at Katarino Spa are good, but I don't think the finish on the rooms was all that. The golf course is however very impressive (and I don't have an apartment there) and Balkanstroy have taken on a Swiss guy to act as executive manager of their resorts which is a very positive sign. Now non-residents can get access to the golf course as well through package offers which I guess is the first step in making it fully open to the public

re: PIRIIN GOLF

One thing about "making it public". As with any golf course it has to be restricted to a certain number of members & by default they would have first refusal for tee times vs Joe Blogs who turns up and would be paying just the green fees for a round.

I have no idea what that number is but in theory if every owner had membership then it would stay exclusive. Frankly I can only ever see i being exclusive - and by that I mean only those who are owners or guests of the complex who can use ...

I have no idea what that number is but in theory if every owner had membership then it would stay exclusive. Frankly I can only ever see i being exclusive - and by that I mean only those who are owners or guests of the complex who can use them. Of course anyone could come in for the shops & places to eat but the management need to be mindfull of the owners, thay have paid a premium for this exclusive product and if every place to eat is full & the bars are full in the evenings with people who dont stay there makes it not good for owners.

As an owner I want it to be a nice quiet resort with no chavs/drunken slobs about. I want to be able to tak my family & friends there for a relaxing time wih good food & safe surrounds for them & us adults to play/enjoy it.

That said clearly it makes commercial sense to make it more public if there are not enough owners/guests there and maybe outside peak season they may offer this but peak summer/winter season I just cannot + its in all our contracts that only owners/guests will be ale to use the golf & facilities but does state that anyone could use the bars/places to eat. FOr them to change that contract would require every owner to have new contracts drawn up and for all of them to agree/accept a settlement for a change on T&C which IMHO would be detrimental not beneficial.

re: PIRIIN GOLF

My bet is that the golf course will be opened up to the public otherwise it will not pay for itself. I am afraid, like everyting else in Bulgaria, once you are in, they will start doing whatever suits them.

re: PIRIIN GOLF

Thats what all the owners of that MRI apt block outside of the Country club "With views over the xth tee" who have now had that view blocked by planting of mature trees. Apparently they were furious that some firms were selling their properties with the caviet that they would be able to use the facilities... sadly Balkanstroy disagreed with that & also they would be in breech of contract with their current owners.
