PLEASE HELP

I know you are all probably masters at skiiing Bulgaria.I am, however, a novie to the country.
1.Could some one let me know which is the best part of the country to snowboard in?
2. Is board hire available?
3. How widely is English spoken (i'm a dumb ass)
4. What currency is used and how does it relate to the Sterling (UK)

Borovets and Pamporovo are equally good to board in. About 30% are boarders.Hire is also available at both resorts, but it is cheaper to book it before you go.
English is widely spoken, you will have no problems with language.
The currency is the Lev. There are approximately 2.7 levs to the pound, but everything is approx 1/2 the prices of the UK.
Try it once, you will never go anywhere else!!!!!!!

1. How long is the transfer from Airport to ski resorts?
2. Can you recommend any hotels?
3. If we came for New Year, what would be going on, and would we need to book.
There is only going to be my wife and I , and I was hoping to go to a restaurant and then a bar or some such thing for the NEw Year.

First you need to choose a resort. I am quite knowledgeable on Pamporovo but have not been to the other resorts.
Xmas and New Year is celebrated in Bulgaria much the same as we do in the UK. Lots of parties going on, and some excellent resturants that now cater for every taste.
Transfer depends on which airport you fly into and which resort you choose. The longest transfer would be from Sofia to Pamporovo which takes about 4 hours. Plovdiv to Pamporovo only take about 90 minutes ...
