PRICES

Why does everyone out there seem so hung up on the cost of everything. Your on Holiday and to be honest the cost from Britain is so cheap for you I don't know why you go on so mush about what price the drink is costing you. I fly from Ireland and although more expensive from here, in relation to other coutries it is a lot cheaper. Was in Andorra in January and I thought that was expensive and also I found up the moutains the restaurants were absolutely shite. You never had anyone to just serve you at the table - you jostled in the q for your food and the food was horrendous. In Bulgaria the people in the restaurant are delighted to let you sit down, order from the menu and bring it to you - which is great after a hard morning skiing - so fine they want a tip - I would too! Get over the prices - its a hell of a lot cheaper than anywhere else and spread it around - the Bulgarians deserve a little luxury as well as us going on our ski holidays. They have a short season to make it - so please Stop whinging.....

re: PRICES

Agree with you Carol. I know the prices have gone up in Bulgaria but it is still cheap and we keep forgetting that. I accept that maybe the prices are rising a bit to quickly but I wish everyone would stop going on about it. Andorra well as you said horrid place to eat and very crowded.

Can only but agree to what you said.It was our first time in Pamporovo this Year, having Skied almost everywhere possible and where pleased with what we had.Hotel clean, food as expected and friendly Staff .We stayed in 4* to 5* Hotels in Canada and to be honest (apart the snow is heaven out there)we had a brilliant time .Infact,we booked for next year to the Pamporovo Hotel only to now hear lots of people not having enjoyed it there (pimps etc.suppose it beats Kings Cross)inflated prices?for ...

I also had a horrendous holiday in Andorra. Was ill and spent half the holiday lying on the bed clutching my stomach. When I could ski there was a hilly climb from the hotel to the slopes. Being slightly asthmatic this was not good.

Loved Bansko this year. Bulgaria for me unless I can afford to go somewhere like Canada.

re: PRICES

Exactly, if you don't put money into the local economy how do you expect it to offer the best services.

The lift system & facilities on the mountain at Bansko are the best I have ever seen (modern), they can't pay for it by charging you 40p for a beer at the top of the hill!!!

re: PRICES

I'm off to Pamps on Saturday and couldn't give a toss about how prices have gone up. The pubs where I live charge £2.50+ for a pint of weak Australian piss so i'm gonna have a good time whatever.
