PS2 Games

Got back last Saturday from a great week in Borovets. The only problem is that we bought eight PS2 games from the CD/DVD guy in the Rila and when we got them home NONE of them worked!!

Not best pleased. Anyone else experienced this or am I the only mug?

Does Mr Bulgariaski have anything to say about this obvious (although I did not see it coming!!) rip off?

re: PS2 Games

Why would he? They are obviously pirate copies mate you pays your money you take your chances! I would not buy any cds/ dvds/games without a demo first.
Anyway you should be aware when doing so your are supporting the local Mafia. Its not like you brought them from Game is it?

re: PS2 Games

I think some games can only be played in certain countries or something. Exclamation

re: PS2 Games

No Sarah, PS2 games are coded for either NTSC (ie american) or PAL (ie UK) tv compatiblity. Pirated games though can only be played in chipped PS2 games.
I believe you can chip your PS2 to get round this compatibilty thing.
It's only DVDs that are region coded.

Very Happy

re: PS2 Games

We bought dvds lastn year in Sunny Beach. Able to see them demo'd first. No problems, worked fine at home. Also gameboy games were good price.
