Paid to drink

Is there a job anywhere on the planet in the least like mine?

The rig has stopped drilling so some of us are being shipped off to town for a week (so no more posts after tonight for me for a while - sorry). All there is to do in town is drink (and fight off the hookers - I've got an electric cattle prod); and we get full pay PLUS £25/day of local currency. which works out at a LOT of wonga to spend (you tend to need a wheelbarrow to cart it all around in).

Hey did you see that Equatorial Guinea has been in the news? That's where I work. How exciting eh? We're famous. And yes it is as horrible and mingy as it looks on the news (assuming you saw the same news I did).
