re: Pamp Snow

I believe the only run that is yet to open is the new run down towards the lakes (off the back blue) the rest are all open.

Cheers Pete new run ??

I've been checking the various forecasts, it's looking v promising for the next few days. Great news

Is this the first year the new runn is open ? from your discription I gather this run is on the southern side of pamp, ie near to the run where there is a button lift and a little wooden cabin

re: Cheers Pete new run ??

Yes Ken,
Depends how many years you have been going to Pamps.

The run past the button lift I still call the 'new run' as it has only been open for 2 years. It is not the greatest run as there is some walking to be done if you do not ski it fast.

It is also the last run to open as it is very tree covered and snow takes a while to settle there.

2 BRAND new runs open this year in Chepalare, well worth a visit.

M Xmas

re: chepalare ?

They are Ken, but it is a great day out.
Not sure about the new runs as they are opening for the first time this year.

Other than them, there are 2 ways down from the top. Blacks and reds, the longest run in Bulgaria, or a long winding blue, but it is quite narrow.

Try it, if you can manage the majority of Pamp runs you will be fine on the Chepalare blue.
