After a 17 year break (!), I am returning to Pamporovo with my wife and family - 2 boys aged 11 and 14. Does anyone know if we can definately all go in the same ski school ?
I went to ski school in Borovets last year - we had a family group of Mother, Father and eldest son aged 13 - younger 10 year old was in junior ski school though. On some of the runs, our instructor let the younger two kids come along. Only one thing though - they dominated the group and whilst it was great for them, we all went at their pace, not what everyone else could manage.
Hotel reports are good. we are heading to same hotel. i asked this qestion a few days ago and pamp pete says its very good.
when will your family arrive ?? we are there from this sat.
Tony,
What Judith says is very true. If you are all of simular ability then no problems, you will be able to ski together. If you are not, then it is very frustrating for the others in the group who constantly have to wait for slower skiers to catch up, and they themselves feel intimidated by being last all the time.
Ski School finishes each day at 3.30pm so if you do get split up there is plenty of time afterwards to ski together.
Ski School in Pamps is great fun, and you will learn ...

I returned after ????!!! years and after the first mornings assessment everyone went into different ability groups. The Ski School is very flexible and I am sure they would listen to your requests to stay together.
It's a great family place, we felt very comfortable in Pamps, everyone is in good spirits and I am sure you will all have a memorable experience.
We have just returned from a week's stay in that hotel. Nice enough. Didn't think much to the evening food so tended to eat out most evenings. Bar prices also more expensive than other places in the area. Watch for the annoying woman playing the piano in the lobby bar early evening!!!!! Swimming pool looked great and bowling alley there is great fun. I am sure you will enjoy it. I would perhaps take a torch given the recent power cuts!!!!
