Pamparovo in Feb

Hi all,
New to the board and just wanting a bit of advice really. Me and my pal are heading out to Pamp on the 1st Feb for a weeks skiing. This will be my 2nd time skiing (Last year I went to Andorra over Xmas) and wanted to know what the snow is typically like out there in Feb.

Also a quick question about the runs out there. Being a beginner I noticed that the ski map only showed you one main blue (from top to bottom). Has anyone got any idea of the amount of blues/greens that ...

And one last thing, We are possibly staying in the Perelik - Whats this place like? I.e Central Location- food etcetc

Cheers

Dan

re: Pamparovo in Feb

Dan,
The snow in February is normally the best, I was there in 2000 and had a ball. The Perelick hotels is right in the centre of the resort, with all the bars within easy walking distance. With regard to the runs, if this is your 2nd time, there should be enough to keep you going.

BTW, I am travelling out on 31st Jan also to Pamp, staying in the prespa! See you in the bars!

re: Pamparovo in Feb

from my limited experience the snow will be great. I am going for two weeks from 24th Jan and can't wait. Perlik will be very very handy for bars and night life. BJ's and the White Hart on your first night to get the feel of the place!

HI Dan

Am going back to Bulgaria on the 21 feb, was in Andorra in feb this year. Your will have a ball, much better nite life in Bulgaria, and the runs are more challenging. This will be our 3rd year going to Bulgaria, so it must be good. Lots of bars around the Perelik, BJsbisco bar, the 24hr bar, bowling bar, sports bar, white hart pub, and a nite club. 5 mins walk takes you to Daks bar, most of the reps hang out here!. There are 3/4 restaurants in the Perelik too, all good i might add. ...

There is also a massage and medical centre, along with a large pool and sauna. What more could you ask for apart from snow.
Enjoy the holiday and drink loads, the more you drink the better your skiing gets!!!! Booze Booze
