Any updates on the chaos ?

Spoke to Balkan holidays (via Going Places) yesterday and they assured me the problem has been sorted know. They said they had been sent a memo yesterday morning telling them of the problems, saying that they were only for this week and that it should all be fine by the 15th. Might still pop into the travel agents again next week though to get an update and check it hasn't happened again!!

What happened? We are planning to stay here in 4 weeks time... anything we should know about!?

Basically over the Christmas and New Year period this Hotel was very overbooked, There were reports of people sleeping in Corridors and Strangers sharing rooms.....All agents seem to have confirmed that there was a problem but it has now been resolved so I shouldn't worry. There are 10 of us going to stay at Hotel Pamps on the 15th of Jan, and I garantee you that we will post a report of what we found, so keep you eyes open on the 23/1 cause that's when we 'll be back online......

Myself and 4 others are heading out on the 15th! Been a bit worrying to read of the overbooking at Pamps but lets hope its all good when we arrive

There was no overbooking at Christmas I was there!

There was over booking the first week of Jan, but nobody slept in corridoors and no strangers shared rooms. What did happen was people didn't get the rooms they booked, for example family rooms put in to triple room with extra bed.
