Pamporovo, with kids

Well we booked at the Extreme, which is reportedly pretty far from the resort but that's what our budget told us - how often would a ski shuttle go to the slopes?

Going there with a 4-year old, is there anywhere warm on the slopes where she can have a cup of tea while DH or I ski?

And another thing, I need to buy things for her, like boots and snow trousers, can I find anything in Pamporovo to buy? What are the prices like?

Thanks!

We struggled to get stuff for our two year old (well nice stuff anyway) last year try Tk Maxx,
Plenty of places to keep warm on the slopes the husky bar at the bottom of Malina has an open fire toasty warm and friendly staff Very Happy right next to the lift too so ideal for one to do a couple of runs and the other wait...

Extreme hotel is far away from the centre. There is 1 shuttle to the ski centre in the morning and one in the afternoon.
There are shopping centres in the resort where you can buy winter cloths( snow trousers 80 - 96 BGN) checked today)

Have you checked out Aldi, they have kids ski wear in from this Sunday I think. Ages usually start at age 5 so would depend how big your child is, but could be worth a try. Its £15 for jacket & trousers.
Its no good spending too much cos at that age they will need a new suit every year anyway.

Good luck

Thanks! Chris, that sounds like what we need. Miss Hopeful, that's a pretty good price - last winter we paid 50 for a suit she wore once! Mad
Galina, thanks, not sure how we'll manage with only one shuttle but we'll see.
Thanks again.

re: Pamporovo, with kids

We get all our kids ski stuff from Ebay and sell it again when they grow out of them. Sometimes you buy 2 or 3 suits to get one that's right but the resale is just as good - just need to pick the time to buy or sell.
