First off - thankyou to all the regular members of this board, ive been reading your posts and have managed to find some great information from here.
Secondly - Next years trip is now booked. Pamporovo, Hotel Perelik (looked at Murgavets as someone suggested but Perelik worked out cheaper), flying out 03/01 with an 11 year old brother in tow for his first ever international holiday (ski or otherwise).
As for all the 'nay sayers' around, relax, if you dont enjoy Bulgaria theres a very ...

As for all the 'nay sayers' around, relax, if you dont enjoy Bulgaria theres a very simple solution - DONT GO. I went to Borovets in Jan 06 and had a great time (better than Italy last year)! Prices may have risen but that was expected as soon as they joined the EU - this holiday is only £200 more than the average price for me alone in the Alps, so i was pleasantly surprised as my brother costs the same as a full adult.
