Looking for a bit of a change this year and have found a holiday to Hotel Pamporovo for New Year. Just deciding whether to book it up.
What are the queues usually like over new yr (30th-6th)? Will pamps be a disappointment after Borovets last time? Food/drinks were great value in Borovets, I'm guessing its the same in Pamps?
I would book a more central hotel if I remember right the hotel pomporovo is a bit of a walk and also one of the last hotel pick up points for the ski bus which was very busy by the time it got there. pamps is a great place, how well do you ski? the food and drink was good value
i have stopped at hotel pamporovo every time i skied in pamps...i have never had a problem there and in my oppinion it is the most luxurious hotel in the resort...u cal easy walk to the centre of the resort in around than 5 minutes...if you at the newest ski station it is walking distance from the hotel but if your at the base station then you will have to take the bus but if your not on the last few its not to busy...i know some people might disagree with me but i think hotel pamporovo is ...

I had a thought today that New Year in Bulgaria is probably going to be a massive affair this year with them entering the EU on Jan 1st - so glad I am in Pamps to join in the celebrations
