I'm off to Pamporovo on saturday, flying from East Mids. and staying in Hotel Elina. Anybody got any inside info on the hotel? This is my first attempt at skiing so any tips on resort, bars, food, ski hire, etc would be a great help.
Hi Martin, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Have a look at my pics from 2 weeks ago to whet your appetite. Look at site below, click on Skiing Bulgaria, then 'view as a slideshow'.
Don't sit on the back seat on the aircraft. You will get hypothermia from a door which does not close properly. I Swear! Its feckin freezin. Just back. Resort fantastic. But caught pneumonia on the plane from the back seat. (29A) Hemus Air. Ski Instruction superb. Great bunch of people.
Enjoy.
P.S. Watch out for Diesel or Chicargo Bulls the fecken Bell ringers. Pain in the Arse.
