Going in less than 2 weeks. Can anyone answer any of the following:-
Whats Hotel Murgavets like? Is it better than the hotel I sayed in last year, Hotel Pamporovo? Is the swimming pool, etc free and any good?
Anyone else in Pamps at the same time?
Where is the best place to go in the evening (going with my 9 year old son)?
What are the hire skis like - are they the same ones from last year - Orion or something like that?
Are the coach drivers from the airport still the fastest on ...

Hotel Murgavets is fantastic, very clean, very modern and very hot!!!! The swimming pool isn't free though, but it's a nominal charge. Ski's are the same, and there are plenty of places to take your son at night, children are welcome everywhere.
ps yes the coach drivers still think they are racing drivers!!
Hi
Just back from the Murgavets last week.
The pool is free to residents, well at least I never paid.
Hotel is hot, very hot sometimes too hot, but thats personal choice.
Its a fairly nice hotel, in some ways it is better than the Pamporovo and in others its not. Food is not as good.
Coach drivers are mad only taxi drivers are madder.
Last year went to restaurant below Murgavets hotel, can't remember its name tho. They had "entertainment" there including singers etc apparently typical folk style. However, as part of evening they also had an act that did fire-walking and other stuff. Kids absolutely loved it (as adult kept thinking about safety aspects - would never be allowed in our so-perfect country!) and asked to go back. Food was rather good, garlic bread delish, big portions if I remember right, whole lamb spit ...
