Pamporovo 14th March

Have enjoyed reading some of the posts on this forum. It has a real family feel even with, or maybe because of, the sledging!
Am trying to decide whether to ski in Bulgaria, in particular Pamporovo. We live in the middle east so can't take advantage of the packages most of you refer to. Can anyone suggest a well located (ie near lifts but still handy to apre facilities) self contained apartment? We r a family of four - 2 adults n 2 teenagers. Have also read some of the posts talking about rising costs in Borovets. Does the same hold true for Pamporovo? Since we are a family budget is an important consideration.
Also, is there likely to be reasonable snow at this time of the year?? Yes, I know - none of you have crystal balls (although with the cold weather I have been reading about some of you might be developing them!) but how is the season been shaping up?

Would appreciate any advice.
Cheers

re: Pamporovo 14th March

Hi Ange

You don't say whether you are looking for something this year or next? I am sure many people on this forum who would be able to help you you find an apartment, give advice you about rising costs year on year but as for the predictability of snow - we are all in th lap of the Gods on that one. I was recently in the Pamporovo area and the weather forecast said "mixed flurries" and we woke up to 2.5ft of snow Very Happy.

Good luck to you and your family

Andie

Very Happy

Sorry Ange - just realise that you have put 14 March as your heading and I assume that this is for this year. Confused
