You should be fine although last two Jan's not been great. Odds are therefore this one will be. They have loads of new snow cannons too so I wouldn't worry. You will be able to ski and it's a great place for beginners. Oh and it's about 2 quid for a drink - on the piste - so won't bankrupt you either. Enjoy.

ive been bulgeria once, went borovets and am agian this feb. i personly would suggest s/c in bulgeria as its so cheap to eat out, and in some of the lower rated hotels u may find quality of food put on for you half bord is quite bad so will end up eating out neway!

dont worry about a lack of snow, was poor wheather when i went but the snow cannons provided plenty, and that was 8 years ago, im sure got alot more cannons now.

your have a great time, great atmosphere, good place for ...

If you do go SC try to make sure you are fairly central as taxis can be expensive.

The food in hotels tends to be a bit rubbish. There are many good places to eat out in Pamps.

Will there be snow where the hotels are or will we have to go up the mountain to to find the snow to ski. Also does anyone know when the first snow falls are expected. Thanks Di.

re: Pamporovo 1st week in Jan

Snow normally falls in mid December. It was late last year but hopefully will be earlier this year however they have lots of new snow cannons so there should be a good base of snow in any case. You should be OK first week of January.
