The Pamporovo, is the top hotel in pamps, the only critisism is that it is a wee walk from the main resort centre, and by the time the ski bus gets to it, it is mostly full! I believe they started running a dedicated bus in the morning, but even so, there was always a big queue as we went sailing by!

Still it was only 10 leva from the centre of the resort to the Ski Depot!

Pamporovo Hotel is superb. It is a little way out of the resort but only a 10 minute stroll to the nightlife. Best to get a taxi back which will cost no more than £2 but worth it as it will be icy all the way home.

In my opinion you could not have chosen a better place to learn than Pamporovo. The instuctors speak great English and all they want is for you to have fun.

It is possible to ski from the top of the mountain to bottom on easy runs, (about 3 miles) and believe me you will be doing this by day 3 or 4.

Best bars on the slopes in my opinion are Spiders mid station, The Lodge at the top, and Marcony at the bottom where many gather after skiing for a few bevvies.

Busses run from 8.30am - about 10am from the resort. As the Pamporovo is on route you may have to wait a little while until one comes along with room on it, but they pass every few minutes.
On return they run until 5pm but if you miss them taxis are standing by to take you home for no more than £3 per carload.
