Hello. Going to Pamporovo 17th Jan from Manc. First Time skiers.
Got a lot of info from this site, so thanks to everyone.
Could someone please answer the following though.
1. Are there lockers for rucksack etc by the ski school?
2. In Hotel Pamporovo, do you need swimming caps for the pool?
3. Again, in the hotel, and in general, how widespread is the use of English, both spoken and on menus? Not that my Bulgarian isn't up to scratch
no lockers that I know off just a shelf to leave your shoes
No hats needed when I was there last year.
Everyone speaks english ant they are translated roughly into English. You might get Park Chapsor Chick soup but you'll get the gist
They forgot to tell you but you really need flip flops by the pool, it is slippery and worse than any ice patchfar more dangerous than the slopes. Book a massage in the hotel it great. Most of the staff speak excellent English,German and you will be well impressed with the reception staff.. The only other thing to take is your favourite brand of red and brown sauce to go with Breakfast as the Bulgarian versions just dont hit the spot but theBreakfast in the Pamporovo is one of the best in ...
