Pamporovo Appears Closed

Nobody at all showing on the mid station cam and lifts not working. This may be due to maintainance but you would expect to see somebody. Also very few people showing up on the Snowshack cam although the single lift appears to be running.

Will try to find out more.

think you may be right pete .. also did you know that thomson / crystal/first choice are not flying out to bulgaria after 28th feb....

Yes I did - that's why I had to change my flight to Heathrow. 21st March - I'm praying for a late fall

i assummed you were out in bulgeria the majority of the time.

Have you been this season yet?

we're booked to go out to pamps on 9th Feb.

I really hope the resort is open :s

We went this time last year and it was packed full of people...

half term is the week after next, surely its the busiest week of the season?

I’m flying out with Crystal, on the 7th of March, to Pamps


Havent had anything from them to say differently, flying to Plodiv as when I booked about a month ago they had sold all their allocated sofia flight seats

But yea I saw none of them are selling holidays out there in March now, not anywhere in Bulgaria, Balkan still are

Guess as bookings are down they just didn’t sort out that many flights

We're going on a DIY Holiday with easyjet flights and self organised bus transfers & staying in the castle.

Was in Borovets week before last and they were going to bus people in from Pamps as the conditions weren't good. Don't know if this actually happened?

Hmm... sounds interesting.

I was chatting to Andrew about that, he said it was around a 5 hour transfer :s
