Pamporovo Appears Closed?

Been watching the mid station webcam for a few minutes and it appears that nobody is skiing. 4 man chairlift from mid station doesn't seem to be running either.

Anybody there confirm this?

no probs skiing Pete, just some lift maintenance issues 4 man and 2 man lift are having maintenance today x

I agree Pete, not ideal, however we did have a heavy snow fall last night so its for safety of the tourists in the resort, glad to see the initiative is being taken and safty is a priority x

In Boro maintenance day is Monday and only in the morning and different lift so no clogging and annoying the tourists.
I think it is a bad decision and I have not seen in the Alps maintenance day unless emergency or something unexpected.
People are paying lift pass (expensive one as well) and don't want to hear that the local mechanics are running mainenance during ski hours.

This must be a specific problem that they are sorting as they don't usually do routine maintenance on a Sunday.

Just heard from mate that he's had to spend his first day, all day in Alex's bar!! Something about trees falling on the cables?

Zoiks, 7 days to sort it out maintenance peeps!!

This one is live - but it does take a short while to load.
Just be patient, even when the screen goes black as it will kick in.
